Harry Wilson: The Wales Gem Who Fell Victim of Liverpool's Vicious Loan Cycle.

The attacking midfielder had it all in his feet from a very young age. Blistering pace, flair and skills to get past his opponents in the middle of the park, mouth-watering passes, and yes, a deadly eye for the goal. Wherever he went to play, the attacker impressed the fans with his creative presence on the field.

Liverpool fans were optimistic about their U23 captain and were dreaming about his future for the coming years.

But at 24 years of age, the midfielder is looking for a move out of Liverpool after failing to convince Jurgen Klopp to secure him a place in the first-team squad. The midfielder went out on a loan spree to the lower divisions for increased game time, hoping to cut it in the main team.

Harry Wilson has been ignored yet again ahead of Liverpool's future plan and the attacker is looking ahead to a move out of Anfield.

The chain of loans began with the move to League One side Crewe Alexandra on a four-month-long loan deal.

Harry later featured for Hull City, Derby County, Bournemouth, and Cardiff, accumulating a total of 121 appearances in Championship and above leagues. The attacking midfielder also played 31 matches with Bournemouth in the Premier League.

His most successful spell would be the 2018/19 season where he scored 15 goals and assisted 3 times in 40 appearances for Derby County. A season that led the fans to believe that it was about time for the Welsh International to shine on the big stage of the Premier League with Liverpool.

But the call never came and instead, the player was loaned out yet again to fellow Premier League side AFC Bournemouth who were relegated later that season. Wilson scored on 7 occasions with the Cherries, including a top-class free-kick against Manchester City in a 1-3 loss.

Frustrations surrounding the player's future in Liverpool were growing every week as the attacker yet again failed to make it in Klopp's plan and had to move to Championship side Cardiff on another spell of loan.

With Harvey Elliot preferred over the versatile attacker in Liverpool's preparations ahead of the current season, the future of the fringe star in Anfield is anything but bright.

The forward's contract expires in 2023, but Liverpool has made their intentions clear about the player's future and is looking for offers from other clubs to sell him on a permanent term.

Brentford are the favorites to bag Wilson ahead of their 2021/22 campaign. A rumored bid of £10m is to be offered by the Bees in the upcoming days for the creative forward. On the other end of the string, Cardiff City is willing to extend the loan spell by another year and is keen to keep Wilson ahead of the Championship plans.
